Architecture of the future

Description

The module introduces a new experimental program for shaping the future. Today, architectural projects have become entertainment novels, combining the worlds of fantasy and rationality. This module invites you to participate in the game.

The idea is to play the future, not just observe it. We will help you explore various scales, modes, and ways of interacting with speculative worlds, from a small toy to the entire galaxy. We see the future as a playground, not just a canvas for imagination.

By engaging in this activity, you'll be able to develop your forecasting skills, enhance your emotional and intuitive intelligence, apply knowledge from multiple scientific fields, and learn to think both quickly and strategically. Additionally, you'll move away from static images and embrace the new gaming concepts of the future.

Description

The module constitutes a cognitive methodology for urban analysis, where on‑site drawing serves as both an instrument of empirical research and a means of cognitive mapping: by capturing the built environment first‑hand, participants gain insights into the historical development of contemporary architecture, conduct a rigorous evaluation of its design strategies and artistic qualities, and reveal the spatial and planning logic that underlies the organisation of 21st‑century metropolises — thus forming a multilayered, evidence‑based understanding of the modern urban fabric.

The module invites children to engage with contemporary architecture through on‑site visits to unique locations. They investigate large‑scale urban plazas, study individual architectural objects, and explore interior spaces — developing an understanding of how different scales shape the urban environment.
